Get active.

In California, if you have not voted in four years, you can be designated as “inactive.”  An “inactive” voter is still registered, but won’t receive ballot materials in the mail, making it much less likely they will actually vote.  In Orange County, California alone, nearly 400,000 people are designated as "inactive."  This is about 20% of all eligible voters in Orange County.  You can check your status here for California.  If you discover you are inactive, you can fix your registration before the October 22, 2018 deadline.  You can also encourage your high school to send reminders to the whole school community to “get active.”
