Students can activate the school community by connecting voting to the issues that they care about.

We have FREE training workshops you can send them to (and attend, if you like!). Students have great ideas about the best times and methods for reaching their peers, and you can support their planning. Students can receive community service credit after completion of our program!

A successful drive can take many forms. Build support by bringing in your school’s administration and collaborating with local partners.

Our FREE detailed planning guide gives you fact sheets, scripts, checklists, and more to support your students in registering their peers.

Put it in Action

Assign student roles, map out the timeline,
and brush up on your state’s voter registration
laws.

Submit your team’s Drive Action Plan at least two weeks before your drive. Start spreading the word so students, caregivers, and teachers know when it is and what to bring.

Then it’s Drive Day! Keep important materials handy by using our FREE workbook. Prepare to count registrations, take photos and celebrate! You and your students have made a big impact on your community by ensuring everyone’s voices will be heard at the ballot box.

Encourage your students to submit a Post Drive Report within one week.

Complete the final step! The Civics Center will provide community service certificates.

Brag about their great accomplishment by using our social media templates. When they tag us, we’ll let the world know what a big difference your students made in their community and for our democracy.

While you celebrate, remember that high school students turn 18 and graduate every year, so it’s never too early to start thinking about next semester’s drive!
