Allegheny Youth Vote Huddle
Hey Allegheny County!
Team up with other high school students who are passionate about getting their friends registered to vote, address the issues you care about, and put your power into action!
You'll hear from teen leaders and elected officials and participate in workshops that will prepare you to get out the youth vote in this critical election. You'll also receive training and materials to help lead a voter registration drive, a $25 gift card, and lunch is on us.

Partnering with our friends at Open Democracy, we are hosting students and teachers from all over the state to learn about what a high school voter registration drive is, the importance and impact of registering to vote in high school, and how we can help!

YWomenVote National Town Hall
The Civics Center will be presenting at The YWomenVote National Town Hall, a nonpartisan, educational forum to lift the diverse, impactful opinions of young women, girls, and nonbinary young people as they think about the issues at stake once the election results are in.
This 3-part program will reach thousands of young people across the country through its livestreamed and live audience components including:
A moderated panel discussion among Gen Z women and gender expansive individuals from diverse backgrounds;
A presidential candidate forum (invitations have been extended to candidates, but have not yet confirmed); and
Local watch parties with get out the vote (GOTV) activations.
Pennsylvania Educator Forum

The Civics Center is offering Pennsylvania educators who are passionate about youth civic engagement the opportunity to participate in a paid educator forum focused on embedding youth voter education and registration into high school curriculum.

HS Voter Registration Volunteer Workshop

Granite Staters! Join volunteers across your state to help NH high school students register to vote before they graduate this spring!
More than 16,000 people turn 18 in New Hampshire every year. As of the close of the 2022/2023 school year, however, only 15.6% of the Granite State’s 18-year-olds are registered to vote. This compares to 80% of voters age 35 and above who are registered to vote in NH and an estimate of 30.6% of 18-year-olds nationwide in 2022.
Register for this virtual 90 minute workshop on Tuesday, March 26th at 6:00 p.m. (ET) to learn how to encourage and empower students and educators to organize voter registration events for their schools.
This workshop is hosted by The Civics Center and Open Democracy New Hampshire, two non-partisan, non-profit organizations that provide voter education and outreach to help high school students register to vote.
