Statement to the 1.7 million young Americans turning 18 between now and Election Day

We are heartbroken. From the children and teachers in Uvalde, Texas to families shopping for dinner in Buffalo, New York. Gun violence has to stop. Our hearts go out to all the families who have had their lives torn apart.

More than 1.7 million Americans will turn 18 between now and Election Day. As future voters, you and your friends have more power than the gun lobby and the politicians who refuse to act. Your power lies in organizing, speaking out, registering, and voting.
