Under 18 in Arizona?

Some states don’t have a formal system of pre-registration, but young people can register to vote if they will be 18 by the next general election.

Arizona is one of these states.

Eligible students who will be 18 by November 6, 2018 can register to vote now.  That means that after this election, young people will be able to register if they will be 18 by the next general election, which is November 2020.  That’s a big opportunity.

In lots of high schools, students are forming clubs to encourage voter registration and focus on policies that affect young people, and youth voter registration is on the rise.
